GUELPH, ON (January 24, 2020) – The Guelph Humane Society was notified of an owner surrendering 97 cats, all from one home this past week.

GHS stepped up and made the decision to help these cats by taking them into their care. GHS have assessed the cats’ basic medical needs. They have provided basic medical care of vaccines, microchipping and parasite control. They will have a better idea of the costs for additional and specialized care next week. Surprisingly, most of the cats appear to be in fair condition, considering the of number of cats that were living together. However, several cats have eye issues and others with additional medical conditions are being monitored closely by our team.
