JOB TITLE: Annual Giving Development Officer

LOCATION: 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd., Guelph, ON

HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours/week; Weekdays, flexibility for some evening & weekend shifts

TYPE: Permanent, Full-time

JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Development and working closely with the Donor Relations Manager, and Marketing and Communications Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the Annual Giving program at the Guelph Humane Society. Responsibilities will include coordination of direct mail and digital asks, new donor retention and donor stewardship, special fundraising campaigns, and database management to support the overall mission of the GHS.

JOB TITLE: Animal Care Attendant (Part-time)

LOCATION: 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd., Guelph, ON

HOURS OF WORK: Part-time; 20-30 hours/week; will include weekdays, evenings, Saturdays, Sundays, and statutory holidays

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Animal Care Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of day-to-day tasks related to the general/medical care, humane handling, sanitation, and monitoring of dogs, cats, and small animals, as well as providing short-term care for injured or orphaned wildlife that are awaiting transport to a licensed wildlife rehabilitator. Candidate will be responsible for greeting clients, providing exceptional customer service, having excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrating a positive attitude at all times.
