LOCATION:             190 Hanlon Creek Blvd., Guelph ON

TYPE:                         Permanent, Full-time; Monday – Friday, approx. 40 hours per week with flexibility for evenings and weekends as required.

GHS is looking for a Senior Manager of Community Services who thrives on delivering exceptional service and enhancing essential services that we provide to our community, including direct client care, field animal services, adoptions, and supporting select pet wellness services.

Reporting to the Executive Director and leading the Client Services, Animal Services, and Adoption teams, the Senior Manager of Community Services is a key member of GHS’ senior management team, responsible for guiding organizational goals, ensuring operational efficiency, and overseeing the delivery of vital services.

As the Senior Development Manager at the Guelph Humane Society, you will drive fundraising efforts, cultivate donor relationships, and ensure supporters are deeply connected to our mission. You’ll work closely with the Director of Development and Development team to strategize and expand our revenue. Key responsibilities include managing diverse donor pipelines, enhancing direct mail, digital fundraising, and special campaigns. This role requires strong relationship-building and communication skills, adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to creating lasting change for animals in our community.

GHS is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Accounting Coordinator for a part-time position.  Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance & Business Services, the Accounting Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day finance, accounting, and payroll activities of the organization.

The Accounting Coordinator will assist with financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure accurate financial record-keeping and reconciliations.  The role will also support the preparation of internal financial reports, as well as provide administrative support for the payroll process.  In this role, you will work collaboratively to maintain smooth financial operations and uphold confidentiality when handling sensitive financial and employee information.
