Client Services Representative - Part-time (permanent)

TITLE: Animal Services Officer (Full-time, Contract)

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Community Services

LOCATION: 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd., Guelph ON  

TYPE: Part-time, Permanent (16-32 hours/week), including weekends

Are you a person who loves helping people and animals? Do you thrive in a busy, people-focused role where you can put your customer service skills to work while supporting animals and the community? If this sounds like you, and you want to join a team that helps countless vulnerable animals, then we want to meet you!

The Opportunity

This role is all about creating a welcoming first impression at the Guelph Humane Society (GHS). As the first point of contact, you’ll handle a variety of front office and reception duties– answering phones, greeting clients, processing payments and donations, receiving animals, and providing general administrative support.

Animal Services Officer - Full-time (Contract)

TITLE: Animal Services Officer (Full-time, Contract)

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Community Services

LOCATION: 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd., Guelph ON  

TYPE: Full-time, Contract (40 hours/week); flexibility to work evenings, weekends and on-call shifts required

Do you thrive on being hands-on in the field, in a job where no two days are the same? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Guelph Humane Society (GHS) wants to meet you! 

The Opportunity

Animal Services Officers play a hands-on role in helping animals in need—whether it’s responding to calls, assisting injured or orphaned wildlife, or delivering outstanding service to the animals and people who count on us. They also help our community by enforcing municipal and provincial legislation across Guelph, Centre Wellington and Guelph-Eramosa.
