Experiencing and animal emergency or suspect neglect or abuse?
Our emergency services will be operating as normal during holiday hours. For EMERGENCIES regarding an animal in distress, call the Guelph Humane Society at 519-824-3091 immediately. For animals you suspect are being NEGLECTED/ABUSED please call the Provincial Animal Welfare Services at 1-833-9-ANIMAL (264625).
Looking to make a year-end holiday donation:
If you wish to make a year-end donation you can do so on our website or by mail with a post stamp prior by December 31, 2023. If you need assistance and would like to speak to a staff member, please email give@guelphhumane.ca or call 519-824-3091 ext. 6 during business hours.
Interest in adopting a pet at GHS:
Please be patient as we expect to experience delays in our adoption process during holiday break. Please continue to apply for animals you are interested in adopting on our Available Animals page. Applications will be reviewed in the order they have been submitted when adoptions resume at full capacity on January 3, 2024. If you have questions, please email adoptions@guelphhumane.ca.
