GUELPH, ON (November 27, 2023) — Donations made towards the Guelph Humane Society will be doubled until midnight Giving Tuesday on November 28.

“If you’ve ever thought about donating to help Guelph and Wellington County’s most vulnerable animals, this is a great time to make a difference,” said Lisa Veit, GHS Executive Director. “Animals arrive at GHS in need of hope, care and compassion each day, and it is only because of the kindness of our community that we can be here for the animals with nowhere else to go.”

The extra support goes a long way for animals like Wallace, a one-year-old Poodle mix who arrived at the GHS matted, unkept and in need of urgent veterinary care. Support from the community made sure Wallace could receive the care and lifesaving surgery that he needed.

Donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar from generous supporters, Helmutz Landscape & Interlock and Elizabeth Steiss up to a total of $19,200. Visit the GHS’s website to double your impact.
