At just five-months-old, Rooster’s life has been full of unimaginable suffering. When we found him abandoned on the side of the road, his eyes were swollen and barely able to open. His skin was so dry and inflamed it bled from open sores. Rooster’s every movement spoke of pain, neglect, and the longing for affection he’d never known.   

Vivo is a young cat who arrived at the Guelph Humane Society (GHS) severely underweight and with significant injuries to his face and head.  He was rushed for immediate veterinary care, and we found out his injuries were a result of being shot in the face. In that moment, we were furious and shocked that someone would deliberately harm an innocent animal.

The world can be cruel to animals, but because of YOU, hope is never out of reach.
