GUELPH, ON (July 11, 2016) – The Guelph Humane Society is pleased to announce the “Cat Days of Summer” Adoption campaign, with the goal of finding loving homes for as many cats and kittens as possible over the next few weeks.

The summertime brings a large influx in the number of cats and kittens entering the humane society’s care, so the Guelph Humane Society is encouraging cat-lovers to come and check out the cats available for adoption.

“We have cats of different ages with a wide range of personalities – suitable for various types of homes – all with lots of love to give! We are hoping this promotion will encourage anyone considering adding a companion to their home to take the next step,” says Melissa Stolz, Guelph Humane Society Adoption Coordinator. “Come visit the cats and kittens at the humane society, or at any of our various satellite adoption locations listed on our website.”

All cat and kitten adoptions include spaying/neutering, up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, flea treatment, microchipping, and six weeks of complimentary pet insurance. During the “Cat Days of Summer” Adoption Event, the adoption fee is reduced to $100 for adult cats and $150 for kittens (less than 1 year).

The “Cat Days of Summer” Adoption Event is running from July 16th to August 7th, 2016. The event will kick-off with a BBQ at JL’s Home Hardware (across the road from the Guelph Humane Society) on Saturday, July 16th from 11am-2pm, and conclude with an on-location adoption event at PetSmart Guelph (183 Silvercreek Pkwy N.) on Saturday, August 6th. Follow the Guelph Humane Society on Facebook for more details.
