The latest edition of The Paw Press, GHS’s newsletter is now online, articles include stories of our shared success this winter to help vulnerable animal in our community.

In this issue you will find outcomes from funding we received from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Government of Ontario including team training and to develop skills to better serve the vulnerable pet-owning community in need of our services. This Resilient Communities Fund grant enabled GHS to launch the GHS Pet Food Bank, which has already helped many animals in need.

In this issue, you will find inspiring stories of how one community member is giving back by celebrating the human-animal bond through art. Additionally, the details on the success of our 2022 Happy Tails Gala, which raised a record-breaking $180,000 to support animals in our care, is also included.

Looking forward, we have some exciting events planned for this year, including 2023 Happy Tails Gala, Mardi Paw, on Saturday, November 4 at the Delta Hotels by Marriot Guelph Conference Centre. We hope you will join us.
