GUELPH, ON (December 8, 2020) – The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) is inviting you to take a few minutes to virtually tour their shelter at their Holiday Open House on Thursday, December 10 at 7pm.
In previous years, GHS has opened its doors to the public around the holidays to allow the community to see the good work being done inside the shelter. While a physical open house is not possible during the COVID-19 pandemic, the GHS team still wants to share an inside look at its operations.
Taking place on Facebook Live at 7pm, the virtual open house will not only take you inside the current shelter at 500 Wellington Street West – but it will also give viewers a sneak peek inside the new GHS building at 150 Hanlon Creek Boulevard.
“I can’t wait for our community to see how big and bright our new building is,” says Adrienne McBride, Executive Director at GHS. “Our Virtual Open House will allow you to see just how far construction has come, and will hopefully get our community as excited as we are about this fantastic, state of the art facility that will truly improve the lives of vulnerable animals in Guelph and Wellington County.”
Anyone is welcome to join in on the virtual open house on the GHS Facebook page.
For those who can’t view the open house live, the recording will be made available on the GHS Facebook page right after the open house wraps up.
