Small Fry can’t heal without you

Small Fry Video update:

Small Fry’s Story: This weekend, Small Fry almost didn’t make it.

Over the weekend, a tiny four-week-old kitten was found alone, laying in the gravel along a country road in Wellington County.

He was very sick and weak from dehydration. Unable to move, he was covered in parasites and struggling to survive.

We named him Small Fry.

With temperatures over 30 degrees, every minute matters for any animal, let alone a fragile, young, injured kitten. Small Fry was fading, but thanks to a kind stranger, he was rushed to the Guelph Humane Society for help.

Our team was ready to act fast when he arrived as the longer the parasites stayed on his body the more his life was in jeopardy.

He received immediate specialized medication and care to manually remove the parasites that were infecting him, gentle handling to nurse his wounds, and a safe, quiet space to rest. He made it through the weekend.

But his fight is far from over.

Small Fry is still incredibly fragile. He needs monitoring, care and possible surgery to remove his badly infected eye.

He’s vulnerable. He’s fragile. But with your help, he has hope.

Please make a gift right now to help Small Fry keep fighting.

Your support today will ensure he gets everything he needs to heal and one day, find a loving home.

Please give so Small Fry can get the second chance he deserves.
