Classroom Visits
Bring the world of animal care into your classroom with a visit from the Guelph Humane Society.
Overview
A GHS educator can visit your school to help students explore animals, their needs, and the work people do to help them. We’ll tailor each presentation to the students’ ages and leave time for their questions. When time allows, we’ll include an animal-themed activity.
Each classroom presentation is 45 minutes. We can visit two or three classrooms during one school visit, depending on the school’s schedule and staff availability.
Plan your visit
Classroom visits are available for elementary and high school students.
- Recommended cost: $1 per student. Classroom based fundraiser or pet food drive are also welcome.
- Booking: Please contact us at least 30 days before your preferred date
Let us know what your students are interested in learning about, and we can discuss a topic that suits each class.
