November is Prepare Your Will Month.
This session invites people who are interested in learning how to prepare estate and planned gifts.

About this event

Learn more about making a planned or estate gift to a charity, with information from a professional accountant and Guelph Humane Society staff.

This free event is planning to have an in person opportunity at our new building at 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd. (max 20 people), as well as streaming online. The date and set up of this event is pending COVID-19 restrictions & registrations.

Have you planned for your own pet’s future?

The Guelph Humane Society’s Executive Director Adrienne McBride will also be speaking on Pet Stewardship, and how to plan for your pet should they outlive you.

There’s No Place Like Home – GHS VARIETY SHOW

“There’s No Place Like Home” Variety Show is the first television event of its kind! It will air on Rogers tv in Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, Brantford and Stratford on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 7pm-9pm. It will also be available to stream live on the Rogers tv website.

Hosted by The Weather Network’s Kim MacDonald, a long-time national television host and animal lover, “There’s No Place Like Home” will feature local musical and dance acts, educational animal segments, and holiday-inspired special moments, all from inside our brand new home at 190 Hanlon Creek Boulevard. And to end the show, we will be pulling the winning ticket LIVE on the air for what we hope will be our BIGGEST 50/50 lottery jackpot yet!

We will be selling 50/50 tickets leading up to the show, plus running an online auction. All money raised goes towards the vulnerable animals in our care as they wait for their Happy Tails. Because the animals all know that there’s no place like home.
