Join the Guelph Humane Society for our largest adoption event EVER! Friday September 13th – Sunday September 15th is the PetsSmart National Adoption Weekend. GHS will be at PetSmart (183 Silvercreek Pkwy. N.), joined by some exciting new partners: Speaking of Dogs, Toronto Cat Rescue and Little ResQ (Friday & Saturday only)!

We are planning a lot of exciting activities as well! Come say hello, have some fun and find the new animal love of your life! Our GHS Adoption Coordinator will be there to meet with you and do applications on site!

A GHS Adoption Coordinator will be on site during the times listed below:
Friday 5pm – 9pm
Saturday 10am – 6pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm

We’re celebrating International Rabbit Day!  Come celebrate with us at GHS (500 Wellington St. W) for an adoption event!

Come by the Guelph Humane Society Saturday August 24th for an cat-option event! Our Superb Seniors (8+yrs) will have a $50 adoption fee, and adult cats (1-6yrs) will be $100.

We have so many beautiful, sweet cats waiting for to find their happy “tail” – could you be the one to take them home?

Party in the Park is happening again this year at Rockmosa Park!

This is a FREE event – for admission and all activities!

WHEN:

Thursday August 1, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Activities will end at 9:30 p.m., just in time for fireworks!

Rockmosa Park (110 Rockmosa Drive, Rockwood)

  For a $5 donation per person towards Children’s Miracle Network you can take a ride in a Hot Air Balloon!
  5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and weather/wind dependent
• Fireworks – starting at 9:30 p.m.
• Live music and entertainment – Step On It, Transistor Radio Group and Campfire Poets
• Axe throwing (Riot Axe) NOTE: Must be 13 years or older and must have closed toed shoes
• Paw Patrol, Minion, Peppa Pig and Olaf
• Street performers (including Tim Burr! Circus Lumberjack Show)
• Rock climbing wall (Guelph Grotto)
• Gaming trailer (Kidnetix)
• Face painting
• Children’s activities: Tot N’ Play, Fish Pond,
• Children’s entertainment stage:  Mad Science, Wild Ontario and Ron the Magician
• Hockey Shot, Basketball and Inflatable Soccer Target
• Splash pad and skate park on-site!
