About the Program
Program launching in 2022.
Financial insecurity can present challenges to disadvantaged populations. GHS Cares aims to reduce financial challenges and invest and protect the beneficial human-animal bond, by providing free services to eligible community members. The program will begin with virtual or in person pet training and behavioural support, facilitated by our Intake and Behaviour Coordinator who is certified in shelter behaviour through the International Association of Animal Behavior of Animal Behaviour Consultants (IAABC). The program aims to expand in the future to include grooming support and other animal wellness services, such as a pet supply and food bank.
