The GHS 2023 Calendar Contest is an exciting way to celebrate your pet while helping the animals in our community who are eagerly waiting for a home of their own.
To participate, you can submit your own pet(s) into the contest, or simply vote for others! The top 12 pets with the most votes win a photoshoot with Laura Wombwell Photography, a spot in the GHS 2023 Calendar, and of course a copy of the calendar!
*Each submission “fee” is $20 each. This is eligible for a tax receipt 20 votes towards the pet submitted. Any additional “vote” donations over $20 will also be eligible for a tax receipt.
*It might not seem like a $1 vote will go very far, but a dollar can do a lot for the animals of our community, so encourage your friends and family to vote for your photos and you could win a prize. Plus, the more votes you get the more you and the animals win!
*Votes are $1 each. $20 will count for 20 Votes and $50 will count for 50 Votes, etc. The more votes you give not only help our animals at the GHS, but it also increases your chance to win a spot in the 2023 GHS Calendar.

The second annual Happy Trails Walk-a-thon is a fun-filled day for the whole community with vendors, contests, food, prizes and more, all starting with a 1km or a 5km route for attendees to choose from. Participants can walk alone, in groups, or teams to raise money to support care, shelter, veterinary and adoption services for vulnerable animals in Guelph and Wellington County. Best of all, participants can sign up and bring their canine companions to walk.
