GHS Happy Trails Walk-a-thon

The Guelph Humane Society is thrilled to invite you to join us in creating more happy tails at our HAPPY TRAILS WALK-A-THON!

The first annual Happy Trails Walk-a-thon is a fun-filled day for the whole community with vendors, contests, food, prizes and more, all starting with a 1km or a 5km route for attendees to choose from. Participants can walk alone, in groups, or teams to raise money to support care, shelter, veterinary and adoption services for vulnerable animals in Guelph and Wellington County. Best of all, participants can sign up and bring their canine companions to walk.

The Happy Trails Walk-a-thon aspires to be one of the Guelph Humane Society’s largest fundraising events with a GOAL TO RAISE OVER $25,000!

All donations raised for GHS’s Happy Trails Walk-a-thon will go toward GHS’s Greatest Needs fundraising priority. Donations will support the Guelph Humane Society’s programs and services, including animal rescue, shelter, and adoption, as well as education and advocacy initiatives.

The GHS Team will be facilitating onsite, same-day adoptions Monday-Friday from 4pm until 6pm, Saturday-Sunday from 11am until 5pm. Adoption fees: $300.00 for kittens $225.00 for adults $100 for Seniors Plus, licensing fees where applicable. All cats and kittens come spay or neutered with up to date vaccines.

GHS Pet Food Drive

We are currently supporting over 300 pets in the community each month, to help keep people and pets together.
