The Guelph Symphony Orchestra (GSO) was founded as the Guelph Chamber Orchestra in 2001, and gave its first concert in March 2001 under the baton of Simon Irving.

GSO provides performances of major symphonic repertoire to audiences in the City of Guelph and surrounding area. Comprised of musicians from the city and region, the orchestra performs regularly in the superb Mainstage Concert Hall of Guelph’s River Run Centre.

Five musicians from GSO will be joining us live from our Community Room on November 4th, and will be performing various hits from “The Wizard of Oz” throughout the show. Their music will help set the stage for a fun-filled television event, and will remind us all that “there’s no place like home”. Learn more about the musicians joining us:
