The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) opens its doors this weekend for its annual open house.

The open house will run from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at the GHS’s new location at 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd. in Guelph.

“We look forward to hosting our community at this fun and festive event and celebrating the important role animals play in our lives,” says Lisa Veit, GHS Executive Director.

Visitors will be able to take part in exclusive behind-the scenes tours of the building with visits to our small animal, cat and dog adoption rooms. Walk-in tours will be available.

Guests will also be able to explore interactive booths to learn more about GHS and how they help animals in Guelph and Wellington County. There is a holiday craft table for kids, and guests can shop at the GHS Happy Tails Boutique where they can find great holiday gifts for their pets, GHS Swag or purchase a poinsettia all to support vulnerable animals in our community.
