GUELPH, ON (June 29, 2021) – The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) held its 127th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, June 22nd, led by Dr. Shane Bateman, Chair of the GHS Board. The meeting, which was held virtually for the second year in a row, was open to active GHS members.

Dr. Bateman, along with GHS Executive Director, Adrienne McBride, provided a year in review for members, as well as an update on the organization’s move to 190 Hanlon Creek Blvd.

“Being in our new building is a dream come true for our organization,” says McBride. “I know that the membership has dreamed of this for a long time, and on March 5th that dream became a reality.”

Organizational decisions were made during the AGM, including appointing RLB as the auditor once again for 2021, as well as confirming eight directors to the GHS Board:

New Directors

These eight directors join Dr. Bateman (who is celebrating 10 years with the Board), Troy Ford (Secretary), Katie MacDonald, and Clare Wooding to round out the GHS Board.
