GUELPH, ON (February 16, 2021) – The Guelph Humane Society (GHS) will be closed until noon today, due to the snow fall and road conditions. Per the GHS Inclement Weather Policy, only those staff that are considered essential are expected to be in. This includes a minimum of two Animal Care Attendants, one Animal Protection Officer, and a second Animal Protection Officer on-call in the event that their assistance is needed.

With most of the GHS team accustomed to working from home during the pandemic, all other departments can be reached directly by email, just as they normally can be.

GHS management will reassess at 11am should the closure need to be extended.
