JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Canine Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of day-to-day tasks related to the shelter health and wellness, including general preventive and medical care, daily monitoring (physical health and mental well being), treatment, sanitation and humane operation predominantly in the dog kennels, and occasionally the cat and small animal area. The Animal Care Coordinator will provide exceptional customer service, excellent communication and organization skills, and will demonstrate a positive attitude at all times, while supporting the overall mission and values of the GHS.
